Agra-wool 100% Natural Floral Foam is a new floral foam replacement. It is made from basalt and a kind of sucrose (cane or beet sugar) and is biodegradable. All ingredients are completely natural raw materials and completely biodegradable (only basalt flour remains) so you can pop the foam into your compost heap or into your green waste bin.

The 100% Natural Floral Foam products absorb water quickly (submerge or pour over water) and retain it well.

The 100% Natural Floral Foam blocks are best used with the ribbed side up. This side is the strongest and this way the material holds the water the best. If you work with very small and delicate stems, you can consider using the side of the block. This side is softer so you put the flowers between the 'layers'. We recommend using the heavy and medium sized flowers in the block in the normal way. Making a guide hole with a kebab stick help you insert softer stems.

It is also possible to add water later as desired by the flowers, the material continues to absorb water. The 100% Natural Floral Foam can be used for dry, silk and fresh flowers. Do send us pictures and let us know how you found this wonderful new product
